After the Paris attacks of November 13rd, I was looking for answers for my questions about the conflicts impacting our world. I ended up reading Dominique Moisi's "La Géopolitique de l'émotion", dealing with international relationships through the angle of emotions. He thinks the cultures of hope, humiliation and fear are shaping our world. I thought this perspective was touching, and these 3 specific emotions inspiring. Hence, I decided to create music to match these emotions, this story of emotions.

And I wanted to use only one instrument : the voice. It was the most neutral and flexible instrument I could use to make to connect one sensation to another.

Solo vocals, accapella, harmonies, improvisation, destructuration... were creative fields I always wanted to reach, and this story was my excuse to do so. I spontaneously recorded what came to my mind when I was thinking about these emotions, and built additional vocals around it to tell this emotional story of geopolitics.
